POST UP - we need a To do list from everyone

Post up and post your plans on your car... maybe we all can help out and get you up and running asap.

whether it be timing belts or transmissions, engine work or suspension, tire rotations, oil changes, turbos and etc... we can have a grill out at da "casa de Tan" and it'll all be good! Rule of thumb though, I don't want to piss off the neighbors, so we have a 10:30PM sound curfew...we can still work, but for those running straight pipes no muffler and 3 inch tips, then we need to find a silencer for your exhaust. ;)

Well, things left on my plate:

I need to change:
- control arm bushings
- spring perches
- Short runner intake/injectors/fuel rail when it comes in or I get the balls to do it.
- paint/install a hood/ euro bumper
- make a set of Jetta RetroHIDs)

seriously, I'm trying to find out what everyone wants to do with their cars so that if the time ever came around to doing it, we can work out a small schedule for every one to meet up and we can do all that...

Brandon, don't you need to save up for some shocks or something? Smilie_PDT
virginvr6

yes i do need to save for some shocks/ supercharger/ cams/ etc.
gruven_98

Well, let's see...

Supercharger
Chip (part on hand)
New wheels & tires
New Tint
HID kit (part on hand, just up north)
HALO 2.0 version

Ultimate plan... VR6 swap

I dunno.. I need to find replacements first.

As far as parts, I've got an Authority chip on hand, and my HID kit is back home in Ohio.

no!... we need to at least find a muffler for that bitch! and a cat of some sort.... you can use that stock vr6 resonator and pipe it out the back ... 2" piping is fairly cheap:

Specifications:Tube O.D.:2"
2" 304 Stainless Steel Exhaust Tube 2' Length
Price: $11.23
Getta Life

I need to:
Change my timing belt and stuff, (got parts)
Drop the Getta (DONE)
Swap the turbo (DONE)
Install the new Ecu with K04 software (DONE)
Install Downpipe and exhaust (DONE)
Intercooler
Fabricate rear swaybar
VR6 Clutch swap

HID Retrofit and joey mod
Paint my sideskirts and new front bumper. (got parts)
Order GLI rear
Finish the interior
Eventually get new tires and wheels.
fxgolf

working on getting a new nose for the caddy (going for the cabby nose), ordered pipe.

i need to do a timing belt. kinda scared to tackel it on my own..but hell i did my clutch and tranny swap by myself i should have no problem. has anyone actually gone it thereself?

one of my next few paychecks will partly go to a timing belt kit from ecs.

two weeks from today i start ordering stuff for the 50 trim. so soon enough ill need some help throwing that on.

I'm in the same boat (timing belt), so maybe we can do both these at once that way we know what works and what don't.[/quote]
dragonfli_x

I was wondering about that... I thought you had gotten it done already... are you going to be able to meet up with us around 4:30 - 5:00PM today Roderick?
Getta Life

Yeah Hopefully, didn't have any other particular plans. But I won't run at the silver dollar until I get the belt done.
