| Newsletters should not be on a schedule, just send them as needed. |

Newsletters? |
|
Lately, I've been sending out the mass emails for our big events and to try to drum up more activity among the members. I know not everyone checks the site, or has notifications turned on, so they might miss a few things without the email.
However, I don't want to make it a habbit to be mass emailing everyone for everything. I'm afraid we might loose some people that way too.
So I'm looking for some input on the best balance to strike. I was thinking that a quarterly newsletter might be a good way to keep the emails to a minimum, but still get the word out to those 'fringe' members. Also, it might be a good modivator for those of us who set this stuff up, to keep things rolling on a quarterly basis and not last-minute.
We also need everyone's help to be sure that you post all events here as soon as you find out about them, so that we can keep track of what's coming up and make sure it makes it into the newsletter on time.
Hit me with it.
